B2B Growth & RevOps · Founder

Entrepreneur. B2B growth operator. Happiest above 4,000 meters.

Three things I believe. That a business is built by the machinery underneath it, not the campaigns on top. That you should own the consequences of your own decisions, which is why I run a technology company and a retail shop at the same time. And that four days beyond phone signal, somewhere above 4,000 metres, is where most problems return to their real size.

Founder of HubXpert, a HubSpot Platinum Partner serving the UK, Europe, the US and Australia, and of Time Traveler, a travel gear brand built from an empty room into a flagship showroom.

The short version

03

I started in growth marketing, which in practice meant being handed a budget and a target and being made responsible for the distance between them. Over nine years and more than $800,000 in ad spend, I learned that the campaigns were rarely the constraint. What broke was everything underneath: the CRM nobody trusted, the handoff that lost half the leads, the reporting that could not say which channel produced revenue.

That is the problem I ended up building a company around. HubXpert exists because most businesses do not need more traffic. They need the machinery between marketing and revenue to actually work.

Two years later I did something unrelated on purpose. Time Traveler is a physical retail brand: inventory, purchasing, merchandising, walk in customers, cash flow you can feel. There is no attribution model in retail. Someone either walks out with the bag or they do not.

I run both. One serves clients across three continents. The other is a shop where I know the regulars by name. The lessons cross over more than you would expect.

Where I actually add value

04

Four areas, built over nine years. Most companies I talk to have a problem in one of them and a symptom in another.

01

RevOps and CRM architecture

Where the other three either compound or leak. Lifecycle and pipeline design, lead scoring and routing, marketing to sales handoff, data hygiene, CRM integrations, and reporting a leadership team will actually trust. Across HubXpert we have built more than 3,000 automations, and this is the layer where most implementations quietly fail.

02

Outbound that gets replies

Cold email infrastructure, list building, sequencing, deliverability and automated LinkedIn outreach. For US and UK clients we consistently hit around 70% open rates — less from clever copy than from domain warmup, list hygiene and sending discipline most teams skip.

03

Organic search, content and AI visibility

SEO as a compounding asset rather than a monthly report: topic architecture, technical foundations, programmatic pages at scale, internal linking. More recently answer engine optimisation — content structured to be retrieved and cited by AI assistants, quietly a meaningful share of how B2B buyers now find vendors.

04

Demand generation and paid acquisition

More than $800,000 managed across Meta, Google and LinkedIn, including a 150 lakh BDT Facebook budget executed personally as a Facebook certified media buyer. The work I care about is the part after the campaign build: UTM discipline, source level attribution, and knowing week to week which channel produces qualified pipeline rather than qualified looking leads.

If your marketing works but your revenue does not reflect it, the problem is almost always in the first column.

Companies I have built

A UK registered HubSpot Platinum Partner building revenue systems for companies across the UK, Europe, the United States and Australia.

A HubSpot Platinum Partner registered in London, specialising in HubSpot implementation, RevOps, custom integrations and web development. More than 150 projects delivered across healthcare, SaaS, financial services, e-commerce, travel and professional services, for clients including Vestaboard, Cruz Foam, DoubleCloud, Lyrebird Health and TRT Australia.

The credential I am proudest of is not the tier. HubXpert is one of roughly 100 partners worldwide holding all three HubSpot accreditations. They are not bought or earned through revenue but they are awarded on demonstrated technical delivery, assessed by HubSpot.

I started with a small team and no clients. HubXpert is now 25+ people across RevOps, engineering and web, rated 5/5 across more than 70 reviews. We also build products: CMS themes, free modules with over 1,000 downloads, and marketplace apps including the Smart Phone Number Formatter.

Time Traveler began with a simple observation: buying gear for a trek should feel like part of the trip, not a chore. I have trekked to Annapurna Base Camp twice and completed the Manaslu Circuit, and that gap seemed worth fixing.

Today it is a full retail operation purchasing, inventory, merchandising, a warehouse, a team, and a flagship 1,100 sq ft showroom of travel gear, luggage, footwear and accessories. More than 5,000 customers served, including over 500 travellers heading to Nepal, and a community of over 40,000.

Running a physical business alongside a technology company has been the most useful thing I have done for my own judgement. Software forgives a bad decision slowly. Retail sends the invoice the same month. The feedback is immediate and unsentimental, and it has made me a better operator on the technology side.

Before I founded

08

Nine years of operating roles across startups and growth stage companies in the US, UK and Asia. This is the period that built everything I now apply as a founder.

Growth Analytics Manager

PeopleLikeTheWordGrowth · United States

B2B paid media across LinkedIn, Google and Meta, with UTM tracking on every channel so source level lead quality was measured weekly rather than guessed at. Cold email programmes averaging around 70% open rates, plus automated LinkedIn outreach. Owned HubSpot operations and the retention funnel.

Growth Marketing Manager

Frontier · New York

B2B paid media, cold email campaigns and automated LinkedIn outreach built to generate qualified meetings rather than raw leads. Set up and ran the client HubSpot instance and weekly reporting.

Co-Product Owner, Head of Marketing & Sales

Breaking Mars Inc. · Delaware

Owned the customer journey end to end across an automation product: landing page conversion work through heatmap analysis, feature research and approval, acquisition planning, and a full HubSpot follow up journey mapped before implementation.

Chief Marketing Officer

6sense High Tech Software Agency

Led a five person marketing team. Built the brand position through influencer partnerships, ran B2B conversion programmes across LinkedIn outreach, paid search, Meta and email, and owned lead to client conversion.

Founding Team Member, Head of Operations & Marketing

Shajao

My first company, and the hardest four years of work I have done. Supervised approximately 948 lakh BDT in sales and executed 150 lakh BDT in Facebook advertising as a certified media buyer. Managed a team of 25, built the operational stack from scratch with roughly 90% of routine tasks automated, and built out a 2,500 sq ft production facility from nothing.

Consulting

Work with me directly

Strategy and advisory for B2B companies that need their growth to become predictable.

Explore my consulting services →

Or book 30 minutes and tell me what you are working on.

Alongside running HubXpert, I work directly with a small number of B2B companies on the problem underneath most growth plateaus. Not the campaigns, but the system the campaigns run on.

Most companies I speak to are not short of activity. They are running ads, publishing content, sending outbound. What they cannot say with confidence is which of it produces revenue, where qualified buyers are lost between marketing and sales, or what the next hire should be spent on. That is the work.

It begins with a structured look at how demand moves through your business: where it comes from, what happens inside the CRM, where it stalls, and what the numbers say once measured properly. What follows depends on what the review turns up. Some want a plan they can run themselves. Others want me involved for longer.

Strategy engagements often turn into build work. When they do, my team at HubXpert usually does it, and I will tell you that up front. When another partner is a better fit, I will tell you that too.

Building AI agents for revenue teams

The question is not whether AI belongs in the marketing stack, but what happens when agents move into the operating layer. At HubXpert we are building agents that work inside the CRM: qualifying and routing, keeping data clean, drafting follow up, surfacing deals that have gone quiet.

Taking a Platinum practice toward Elite

Elite is the tier above Platinum and there are very few of them. Getting there is not a marketing exercise. It is a function of retained clients, delivery quality and depth of technical work, and it shapes most of the operating decisions I make.

Building a company that does not need me

A business dependent on its founder is not a business, it is a job with more risk. I spend an increasing share of my time on the things that make that untrue: hiring, delegating properly, documenting how decisions get made, and resisting the pull to involve myself in every one.

Writing about what I am learning

Mostly on LinkedIn, occasionally at longer length. What actually works in B2B growth, where HubSpot implementations go wrong, and what running a retail business has taught me about running a technology company.

I love Nature, Traveling & Mountains

I spend a lot of time thinking about companies. I also like getting as far away from them as possible.

Annapurna Base Camp twice, the Manaslu Circuit once. There is something about being four days into a trek, well beyond phone signal, that puts most business problems back in proportion. Beyond Nepal: India, Bhutan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. The habit is what turned into Time Traveler.

Closer to home, I build with my wife Mowrin. She was part of the founding team at HubXpert, has shaped the company as much as anyone, and leads our people and HR function. Building a company with the person you go home to is not for everybody. For us it means we are never solving different problems.

The rest: films, new technology, whatever I am curious about that month, and the violin, which I am learning slowly and badly — an unexpectedly good lesson in being a beginner again.
